What is the difference between quartz and quartzite
Quartzite is a natural stone, harder than granite, and more absorbent. It is usually more expensive; however, it does allow for more patterns, making it a popular choice for countertops with unique and elegant designs. According to Freedonia Group, the demand for countertops in the U.S. is forecast to increase 2.4% per year, highlighting the growing popularity of materials like quartzite.
